Thanksgiving!!
This year, since I live away from family, I get to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. Yikes! All of you who know me well know that I am already losing sleep over it. Steve's parents are coming and some neighbors. How the heck do I even prepare a turkey? I don't even think I own a roaster. However, i did buy a turkey baster, hehe. Jamie and Jill would be soooo proud. Any ideas for recipes or tips, PLEASE SEND THEM MY WAY PRONTO!!!

oh - i think i remember the turkey basters- i had just moved to Texas!!!! That's funnier than heck!!!! Why not order it, then present it like your own? now THAT'S funny!!!!
not a bad idea. hmmm...
Honestly, some people detest using the roasting bags...as for myself, I am not above it. It makes cooking the turkey super-easy, and not bad, moist-wise. (I hate that word: moist. Nasty.) Are you hosting anyone? How many will you be feeding?
Here are a couple more I just thought of:
~Create your menu around what your family will actually eat. When it's just me, my husband, and our kids, I never do yams or cranberry sauce for tradition's sake, because we'll never eat them. (In fact, I'm considering just doing steak this year because my kids like that more than turkey.) However, because I like the taste of cranberries, I always put some in the stuffing.
~Simplify as much as you can, and spend your cooking time on what YOU like to do. If your specialty is making pie, then buy store-bought (or frozen) rolls.
Holy sh*tballs, this is going to be interesting...
I'll call you.
Turkey basters!!!!!! Now that's something Steve can help with, he he.
Woo hoo!
I am still waiting for some star recipes... bring em on!!
