Holy Cow! I know people always say this, but how is my baby boy one?? I am soo sad about it. I don't even know where to start about this kid. Easily, the best thing that has ever happened to me. Does this mean that I love my other kids any less- no way! But, he has stolen my heart in a different way. Maybe because he is my last? Maybe because I wasn't sure I really wanted another baby? It took some convincing... Maybe because of all the problems I had post delivery with this one? And, maybe because I feel like I didn't fully bond with him for five weeks. I truly feel as though I was robbed from his early weeks in this life. I was not his primary care taker for a lot of it, and when I was.. I was too sick to even be much of a care taker at all. However, what a true and amazing blessing this baby is. I am seriously obsessed with him. I adore every little piece of him and I look forward to him waking up every day. I miss him when he naps and sleeps, etc. I have listed some of my favorite things about him below.
1. He is the best baby- He is so pleasant and happy all the time! Seriously, he rarely cries. When he does, I know that it is something serious. He is always smiling and laughing. Now, I know this seems like I am bragging, but remember, I had Berlin:) Neither of my other kids were super chill and happy like this. Soo, I have had my fair share of not so easy babies!
2. He loves his brother and sister- This kid really has proven to be tough. Jamison already wrestles with him and Berlin carries him around all over the place trying to make him listen to her stories, telling him where he can and can't go, wanting to feed and dress him... He is just soo sweet and lets them tote him around everywhere.
3. He loves to be under the dinner table. Always. It is his favorite spot.
4. He loves to go on walks in his stroller. He could be totally ready for a nap,and I will take him on a run and he just sits there and smiles. He doesn't get fussy or fall asleep, he just chills.
5. He LOVES the tub. He could be in there for hours and not get bored. He loves when Berlin and Jamison get in the tub too. He will just stand on the side and try to chat with them.
6. He loves all baby food. He isn't so keen on real "people" food yet, but we are working on it.
7. He loves his "lovie" blanket and bottle- (this may be hard to give up)
8. He loves to pull up on my legs and poke his head through my knees.
9. He will go to anyone. No stranger danger here! He has never made one peep when we hand him off to anyone
10. He loves to walk on his knees. Super funny if you have seen the video.
11. He LOVES dogs. Loves them.
12. He is starting to babble- bababa, daddada, mamama and it is super cute- he gets the funniest face when he does this too!
13. He always wants to be outside. Hopefully an outdoor boy like his mama.
Grahmzy- thank you for being the special spirit that you are. I am grateful for you every day and love each moment that I get to spend with you. You light up my life and make me so proud to be your mama. I could go on and on.... I love you more than you will ever know.
Here are some special notes about Graham from special people in Graham's life:
"Graham- I love you. You are so cute. You are so sweet. I love being your big sister."- Berlin Babcock
Graham. I love everything about you. But my favorite thing about you is that you've managed to unlock a love from your mother that I've tried for over twelve years to unlock. It's a love I cannot even describe. I just know it's the most potent and powerful form of love someone can express in this life. You can't even walk yet, and yet you've given your mother the most powerful gift she'll ever know. And for that, I am extremely thankful for you. I know you're always going to love your mother. I know you're going to take care of her and listen to her. And for that I'll always be thankful. I love you chunk! - Dad
Graham...one year old. How easy to remember his first few weeks on earth. He was a tender , snuggly baby who seemed to be at peace with the world, and when I held him he would just settle into me and make me feel like I was a sanctuary. I had that same experience this spring when I held him for a few minutes. Precious. Happy Birthday to Graham who gives back. Grandma Babcock, and Grandpa Babcock sends his love, too, and is glad Graham's mommy is all better from his entry into our family.- Grandma and Grandpa Babcock
What a joy Graham has been over the past year! Hailey and Steve were certainly blessed with a very sweet, easy-going baby! Yea!! I remember Hailey's troubles during Graham's first month of life. She was so sick and I know we were all blessed because he was so easy to take care of. I remember flying out to help the end of May, and taking night duty with him while I was there. Piece of cake. . . . . he was really good to work with. I feel like I grew so close to him while I was there! He's just a sweet angel!! I love his darling smile and the way he's now trying to walk and does so on his knees! (reminds me a little of Jamison's monkey crawl). Well, I just love him to pieces! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to a sweet, wonderful little boy!! Love you!! - Grandma Reenie
Grahamzy is the sweetest baby I know. I am totally attached to that sweet boy. I've never been so head over heals for a baby other than my own, but Grahamzy stole my heart for the get go. It was so fun to come and visit last May and be able to get up with him in the night and feed him. I just wish we got to see him more than we do. Happy 1st Birthday Grahamzy!! I hope we get to see that adorable smiling face soon! -Aunt Charlyce

Love this tribute to little baby Graham!! Motherhood is truly wonderful isn't it!!
What a sweet, sweet boy! I'm so glad it's been such a wonderful experience for you! I think there is something about knowing it's your last....I'm finding that already with little Charlotte.
Miss you!!
Seriously, he is GORGEOUS! I am officially betrothing him and Lucy. After reading all about him, I think they are very similar. I'm glad he has been such a joy for you! What a gift this precious boy is.
Love that little guy! I think this is the longest post you've ever made. Way to go!
