This morning, Berlin was getting ready for gymnastics when we realized that today was "super Hero" day. Well, we are fresh out of any super hero clothing, so I told her to dress up like a princess. The following conversation occured:
Berlin: But I want to be a super-hero
Mom- Okay. Well, let's go to Party America on our way and see if we can find something cheap that you can wear.
Berlin- Why do we need a sheep?
Mom- Something Cheap, Berlin... Cheap
Berlin: I don't want to be a sheep, I want to be a super Hero
Mom: Berlin, we need to FIND something Cheap to wear that is a Super-Hero
Berlin: Sheep?
Mom: CHEAP!
Berlin: (blank look on her face)
Mom: FORGET IT!!
I am not usually this irritated, but given the circumstances that have surrounded my life lately...

She's got a good point. A sheep would be a lame super hero costume. Just sayin'
HAH!!! Sheep would work just fine! You are amazing - i get that irritated on a daily basis!! Make that dozen-daily basis! :(Are you doin OK? Your hubby is home soon, right?
Tell her to enjoy the days when she doesn't know what the word "cheap" means. My kids always ask me if they can get things and when I say no they ask me if is is because it isn't "on sale" - even my 4 year old knows this one. I loved this story! You are a great mommy!!!! Miss You!!!
It's the 3-week cleanse. . . . . get rid of it!! Being hungry makes one irritable! :)
I love it!! I need to ask my kids if they know what cheap means. I always say "sorry it's not on sale". I wonder sometimes it the little ones think that means you can't purchase it, like it's not "for sale". I might be confusing them, but they always walk away from it like it's not an option.
Hailey, after i read your post, I laughed so hard I started crying. I miss you a ton, love you
