I have had it!!

We all do things that we regret and wish we could erase. Well, today was one of those days. Maybe it was the fact that our kids both woke up at 5:30 a.m., or maybe it was the fact that Steve left today for 3 weeks, or maybe I need to take my Love and Logic class again for a refresher.

In a nutshell, all hell broke loose today. Crabby kids fighting with each other all day, being sassy to mom, screaming, crying... you get the idea. Well, right in the middle of one of the massive breakdowns with Berlin I lost it! The phone happened to ring while we were ummm... communicating. Sooo, I did what all parents would do at the end of their rope and pretended to answer it and it was "Santa's Elves". Well, the news wasn't good about presents and I relayed this onto Berlin. Oh boy!! Didn't see that one coming... We made up, of course, and now she won't stop asking if Santa has forgiven her and decided to give her presents for christmas. Yep, I suck!

No way, I totally think that is a forgivable and harmless thing to do. And it worked, right? Desperate times call for desperate measures. At least you aren't spanking your kids like Spencer and me (or are you?)

Hays. If it makes you feel any better, my hotel room is really, really, really tiny. Like, cruise ship tiny.

You're a good mom, Hailey. I can't even begin to tell you how my childhood was, and I won't, because I'm not about to trash-talk my mother. She did what she felt was best at the time, is all.

Hailey...I actually think it's a great idea, and I may be using it with Aubrey here soon (1 hour meltdown today due to wardrobe choices)! Sorry about the stressful day....hopefully things will improve.

NO- YOU ROCK!!!! I thought this was gonna be something really BAD!!!! You are an awesome mom, and Santa IS watching everything we do and say! And I wanna hear a 'he-- ya!' for spanking!!! But if this works better than go for it:)

Gotta love those little angels...?! The santa is watching doesn't always work for me, but I do the "Santa call" a lot as it get closer to Christmas - who doesn't?! Bad thing for Becky is that her kids don't like Santa and asks that he doesn't come every year - sucks to be her!! You are a great mom and you love your kids - hang in there!!
