The ongoing joke at our house is that anal retentive Steve claims that I have turned him into a slob since marrying me. Now, really, my definition of slob is not the way my house would ever be. Those of you who live by me and see my house ALL the time know that I am definitely not slobby. So, my bedroom is my junk place. It is where all bills, art projects, preschool stuff, etc. stay prior to me putting them in their designated places. But it is hard with all the nic nacs (like magazines that you want to keep but your husband threw away your perfectly good newspaper rack in the move.
So, here is picture of Steve's luggage THREE DAYS after he came home last week. Right in the middle of the floor for me to "trip on and break my neck" (a Jiller's saying). Now, who is the slob??? I guess Steve is too used to maids picking up after him!
But, umm.. maybe you all could share some good nic nac organization tips!!

Throw all nic nacs in a box and store in closet- if you don't go looking for them in a month or two- chuck 'em!!!! That's my motto!!!! It's a really great way to go shopping again!
JD's bag is always out for days after he gets home. What's up with that? I guess they think they are too busy to put it away. Well...maybe they are.
It's true.
But I blame it on fatigue.
